
Led by Kendrick Jackson, the team at Youth and Families Empowerment Services are experienced in caring for at-risk youth and their families. Our commitment is demonstrated every day as we help individuals and families deal with serious antisocial behaviors and other behavioral challenges. We are dedicated to offering professional therapeutic treatment, support, and guidance to every person we serve.
At Youth and Families Empowerment Services, our staff recognizes that compassion, respect, and safety, as well as trust and integrity, are crucial to successful treatment. Our aim is to provide a therapeutic environment conducive to treatment and recovery, and to help keep families together.

Kendrick Jackson, CEO, Owner
Kendrick Jackson is co-founder and owner of Youth and Families Empowerment Services, LLC (YFES). Kendrick has over ten years of experience in program management, supervision, and social services. Kendrick has worked in a variety of sectors to help Louisiana residents who were in need of behavioral health services and case management. Mr. Jackson earned a BA in Sociology with a Minor in Social Sciences from the Northwestern State University of Louisiana in Natchitoches.
In working for numerous agencies to help others in the community, he decided to expand his ability to help others by starting his own behavioral health agency in 2016. Since then, he has been striving to ensure he can uplift families in need starting in his hometown community of Natchitoches, Louisiana. Mr. Jackson plans to obtain his Master’s Degree in the Public Health field in the near future. He also plans to expand YFES into a variety of services and resources that will be helpful to families and individuals in the communities worldwide.

Reneka Hayes, Clinical Director, MSW, LCSW
Reneka Hayes is the contracted Clinical Director for Youth and Families Empowerment Services, LLC. She ensures the program is growing in the right direction as the MST team remains adherent to the model and provide effective services to the population served. Reneka graduated from Northwestern State University with a Bachelors degree in Social Work in 2005. Afterward, she decided to go directly into the Master of Social Work program at Grambling State University.
Reneka completed this program in 2007 and earned a Master’s degree. After earning a Master’s degree, Reneka went on to work in the social services field for a number of years before starting as an MST therapist in 2011. After being a therapist for 2 years, Reneka went on to become an MST Supervisor. She remained a supervisor while also obtaining a Clinical License to practice Social Work independently in 2016. Reneka then began her work with YFES and quickly became a Director to help guide the agency in the right direction. She enjoys helping the agency in its process to grow and become an asset to all communities and wants to ensure the agency is providing effective services. Her plans are to continue work that will ensure families and individuals have effective services in place.

Quintell Turner, MST Supervisor
Quintell Turner is from Alexandria, Louisiana. She has worked as a Multi-Systemic Therapist for six years and has been a supervisor for two years. Quintell has a Masters in Human Service Counseling-Marriage and Family. This educational background has only enhanced Quintell’s knowledge and skill set in evidence-based practice.
Her compassion to work with those in need, in the behavioral and mental health field, is exactly why she fits in here at YFES.
